2001 dodge Dakota brakes seem to have air changed master cylinder still got air can't get it out bleed brakes

when bleeding brakes start at the master cyl lines. crak the nuts at the lines and pump the pedal until you have oil coming out . This primes the master cyl.. Next start at the longest line and bleed back to the shortest. Two man operation . Pump and hold down and then open the bleed screw . tighten the bleed screw and allow the pedal to come back up re-pump the pedal and hold down until all the air is out of that line. Repeat the process fpr all the lines ensuring that you monitor the oil level in the reservoir so that you do not have to start again.

Brakes wont work pedal goes to floor changed the master cyclinder bleed brakes and still have same problem 1990 ford aerostar van

What is the condition of both front calipers? both rear wheel cylinders? and the complete brake lines and hoses of your van? If they are all good with no traces of leakage, then did you bleed the Mastercylinder on the bench first before installing in the van? Did you gravity bleed the 4 wheels first? did you bleed from the farthest wheel first? Are you using a new Master and not a re-built??

Having problem bleeding brakes cant find the brake screw to bleed brakes to build pressure in brakes in a 1990 lexus ls400.

The bleeder screw is in the back next to the brake line into the caliper. Start the bleeding at the right rear, farthest from the reservoir. Then move towards the front left. Keep checking the fluid level and make sure you don't let go of the pedal with the screw loose. Get a 6 point box wrench on there , about 8mm, and a piece of hose to run the fluid into an empty can. Check it out, hope this helps.

1990 Honda accord brake problums

Your problem look like if there is still some air in the calipper cylinder.
I suggest you loosen the brake hose at the calliper and completely retract the piston.
Then thighen back the hose and perform a normal bleeding procedure of the front brake lines.

In my 05 kx 250 my brake pads were really worn out, so i changed them, and i put everything back together and now theres no pressure in my brakes to move the piston in the caliper. What do i do? add more...

Maybe air in the line..

Bleed the line..
Open the master,, then open the slave & let it drain.. At the same time keep adding fliud to the master as needed - dont let it drain to low - keep it topped off..

After you think the entire line has been drained,, close the slave & be sure master is at the right level & close..

That will release any air - if that was the issue..

Hope this helps !!
Please rate me good ;o)

Cant bleed out brakes

It takes time, do you know the sequence to bleed the brakes? Most cars r different. And you have to keep pouring brake fluid, That is a two person job. Make sure all lines r connected to MC and not leaking. After a while if nothing comes out MC could be diffective.
