SOURCE: I have a Daelim Cordi

Do you know where the fuel filter is on this scooter? It will be somewhere between the gas tank and carburator but I am not familiar with this model. But I could probably find out if you need me to. Anyway, replacing a fuel filter is a very easy task that requires almost no mechanical experiance. Once the filter is found it is usually connected to the fuel line by a hose and clamp on each end of the filter. Simply unscrew the clamp or if it is a factory pressed on model you can cut the gas line directly behind the end of the old filter if you can't get the clamp off. Any auto parts store will have a variety of filters for many makes and model vehichles and many universal filters that will fit anything. All you have to do is match up the fuel line diameter with the correct filter. While your there get 2 small hose clamps for the fuel line to clamp the hose around the end of the filter nipples. Just make sure the flow is in the correct direction and this will be marked on the filter, the flow arrow should go towards the carburator. thats all there is to this! As far as my opinion on what the issue could be I can't say with anly the information you have given me, there are too many things that can cause an issue like yours, but a fuel filter is the best place to start, so get it replaced and let me know how your doing and we can go from there.

Which scooter is the 1986 trac dh100 (daelim) based on? the closest I could find was the honda ct70

Many folks are under the misconception that their Chinese scooter, ATV, or motorcycle has an engine that has identical components to a name brand unit, and the parts can be interchanged- and this is 100% false. If they WERE identical, they would have the same power and smooth running/riding characteristics of a name brand machine with identical engine size- THEY DO NOT. Chinese units are, by and large, cheap, lack power, and have vibration that is unreal. You're just going to have to dig a little harder, into you wallet. Bikebandit is my favorite place to find new parts, and ebay or now Amazon will have used parts, if money is tight. I buy and sell ATV's, and you have no idea how many of these guys try to sell Chinese units as having a motor "identical to, or the unit is is based upon, a Honda abc, or xyz. If they were, they would last longer than 2 years.

Turn signal no working

If light(s) come ON, but does NOT blink, be sure the battery has a full charge and hooked up correctly....If, with fully charged battery and nothing, then there may be a minor wiring issue between handlebars and wire cluster under seat (where battery is) Also, sometimes a new NEW CDI box fixes ALOT of problems from Idle/ Rev, to blinkers / dash lights! Good Luck!

Mine goes about 35--it is all standard--NO upgrades. Changing the air filter to breath better is the FIRST cheapest way to get a little more. Then there's the usual 200.00 dollar-ish exhaust replace to do. but really, at 200 lbs (me) 35 ain't bad...air filter changed/helped a lot (5 bucks! ) :)--probably won't bother with the exhaust. I've got a 2001 Yamaha Zuma 50 that is a far superior machine. PEACE.

Daelim Cordi 50cc kic kstart jam.

Best recommendation is take it back ... it is new ... if you mess with it, bye bye warranty. Make em fix the electric start as well. There are unseen issues with this machine.

Lost key to moped, how to rewire

The best thing to do is to visit your local Kymco dealer with proof of ownership and the vehicle identification number and have them get you another key. Hot wiring the ignition could be a unsafe thing to do and it could damage other electrical components.

Lost manual...not sure what weight oil to use. Believe it is 90?

Hi,
That Daelim uses ang ordinary 4T oil, which is 15W/40 or a hi grade 20W/50 for the engine. The 90W lubricant, you are saying is for the gear oil or differential.
Hope that helps you out!
