What year is this bike? have the plugs ever been changed, have the valves been adjusted? if so did u damage in any way the spark plug boots and insulators, they are the achilles heal of the bike, if u used any thing other than your fingers to pull them out they are almost for sure cracked and leaking spark to the cylinder head, the other problems that cause poor low speed running are dirt in the carbs, one or more will make it run really bad, the jets in the carbs are very small and easy to plug up even with the tiny particles, had mine off 3 time in 8 years for such problems

I left my key in the on position for a weak on my 2006 1800 vtx. My battery is dead should I buy a new battery or can I start this bike and recharge the battery I'd I ride for a few hours

Take the battery out, check your water levels. Give the battery a good deep cycle charge with a charger before you do anything else.

Yes, You could jump it and ride it for a hefty amount of time. However riding a bike with flat batteries can cause issues on the ECU if your bike model has Electronic Fuel Injection. As the EFI relies on a minimum amount of power to run the ECU(computer), at low revs some bikes are stubourn and rev irregularly to try and produce power from the alternator to compensate for the loss in power from the battery which loads down the electronics when it is flat. If you are going to go for a hefty ride to charge the battery, try to ride out on he open road somewhere and avoid high traffic areas as well as areas where you will need to start and stop frequently.

My 450 hp gas gas atv missfires when the throtle is relesed, then stalls and loose power

100% the issue is too much air. get your carb checked, reduce air intake.

open the air intake on the carb about 4 full turns then start the bike. if it does not want to start open the idle bring it up at least 5 turns. when it start at a very high rev, start closing the air intake slowly until you feel and hear you have hit the right spot. adjust your idle in the process.

NOTE: missfires may also be caused by a fouled out sparks

Aprilia RS 125 Power Loss

I guess youwillhaveto adjust the clutch cable so as to open the plates more at the pressure plates to let the clutch plate rotate freely instead of binding thus the low rpm.
Hope this helps!
