Sounds like there is now air in the system. If there is a bleed nipple on the slave cylinder, bleed the clutch with new fluid. If not, it is a sealed system and both the master and slave must be replaced as a pair and ensure you follow the instructions otherwise you will get air in the system again.

Just went for inspection, got P0551. no idle


It's an issue with the pressure sensor in the power-steering lines, it needs replacement, if you're going to do this yourself, make sure you do it quickly and try to catch any fluid that might drain from the line in a clean bowl, that way you can reuse it, after installing the new sensor, refill the power-steering fluid and turn the steering wheel lock to lock 20 times, that should bleed any air from the system.

Clutch has no resistance , jumps stalls when putting in gear


i had same trouble with clutch-bike sat for two years--i bled clutch system and it works great now--i found to aid the bleeding process i had to back off the bolt a little at the master cylinder and bleed it there too -same as you would a bleeder screw ((( do try not to get fluid on ur paint-of course)))

I pull in the clutch and when I put it in first gear it either jumps forward and stalls or wants to move forward but doesn't quite stall. After the bike warms up the problem goes away. I am pretty familiar with clutches in cars and in general (I'm a mechanic) but I just want some opinions. Could it be air in the system that takes a warm up cycle to go away? Or is this a common problem with Monsters? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!The clutch slave can be difficult to bleed. It sounds like you have air in there. I'd bleed it and zip tie the lever to the grip overnight. That will allow air to return to the master. Another issue could be sticky plates in the clutch pack. Does the bike get ridden infrequently?,,,
