Hi cant locate oil plug to drain oil /2006 st bob

It's on the left hand side of the bike, attached to the oil pan, imagine that. Take oil cap off first so that oil will flow freely and faster. Before adding new oil filter (remove old one first) be sure to put some oil on gasket. Remember only hand tight so you don't kill yourself changing it the next time. Adios.

Where is the oil drain plug on 2006 twincam 88?


Hi Anonymous, the oil drain plug on a DYNA is located on the left side of the oil pan underneath the transmission in the left rear corner. Have nice day.

If this is the same thing my uncle had, i do believe there is actually a debris deflection guard on the front of the oil pan, which you would have to remove to access the oil drain plug

There is no drain screws on forks. You have to take the fork tubes off to drain them then turn them upside down to drain oil out MOPAR KENNY

on the later model dynas the oil drain plug faces forward on the oil pan and will take a 5'8" wrench to remove

you probly drained the primary case oil, which house the primary drive chain and clutch. The main oil is in the oil tank, there should be a drain bolt on the bottom of the tank
