Dirtbike cutts off

When i let the clutch go when not ridding the bike cutts off on me what could be my problem

If your in gear and you stop and let out the clutch with no throttle you will stall. i think that's probably whats happening to you. if its in neutal it should not do that

Check the switch up on the clutch lever, could be faulty. Disconnect it, and bridge the2 wires together. see if problem persists.

I put my bike in gear and it goes by its self

Hi Kristin:
If this is happening while you have the clutch lever fully squeezed, it would seem that the clutch is dragging.
It can be adjusted where the cable meets the lever assembly.
If there is any "slack" in the lever, there should be an improvement if you:
- back off the lock nut
- unscrew the adjuster until there is no slack in the lever, and
- tighten the lock nut.

screw adjuster all way in on handle bar,feed through bike to clutch arm,hook end nipple, then unscrew lever adjuster out until firm then adjust accordingly.

I want my dirtbike to be manual clutch

Sorry to tell you.It would be cheaper to buy another bike.It would cost a lot of money to go from auto clutch to manual clutch.Hope this helps

My dirtbike only moves when the clutch is fully dinengaged...

is there any free play with the clutch lever? only need about a quarter inch of free play.. if there is none, it will burn out the clutch plates.

Dirtbike is smoking

could be too much 2 stroke oil in your mix or worse case, your piston rings are going.
