Unhook all the brake linkages and rods, axle nut, pull the axle out,and shift the entire wheel to the right and it should pull out,its really easy, although i know it sounds a little overwelming

After changing trear wheel on 2006 belt driven suzuki intruder 1500 when i put inn gear it makes a grrrring noise

Suzuki intruders are shaft drive only unless someone has engineered a major conversion to belt drive
when refitting the rear wheel something has gone wrong and it may be binding on something and causing the noise remove rear wheel and check for points of contact if none shaft drive ,gearbox and clutch need to be investigated

How do I change my gear shaft on suzuki intruder 96 VS800GL

Hi, Bama for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. Need to take off back tire need a new tire and not

Put the bike up on the main stand. Remove the rear brake caliper assy. Loosen the rear axle and pull it out. Now pull out on the wheel, pull it away from the rear gear housing, the wheel will disengage a gear inside and then it is ready to pull out the back.

How to access the battery on a 2001 Suzuki Intruder Volusia 800

Use the allen wrench from the on board tool kit to remove the bolt behind the passenger seat pad, above your rear wheel. Pull the pad backwards to reveal 2 more bolts. Same allen wrench removes these two and the strap that secures the passenger pad. Pull the saddle back and you are done. Note that the bolt for the rear seat and the 2 for the saddle are not the same lengths when you go to put your cycle back together.
Battery is under the saddle.

Can you adjust rear shocks on a 94 intruder 800 , when you are going through the gears.the rear end comes up, insted of siting down after shifting and getting back on the throttle

hi this may help, this si quite a common complaint on shaft drive bikes, what you are actually experiencing is the torque reaction between the drive shaft rotating on a horizontal plane and the crown wheel rotating iin a vertical plane,as you crack the throttle open the back of the bike wants to stand up and off the throttle the back end will squat down, some of the earlier bmws were like riding a pogo stick, they were very bad for it,stiffening up the suspension may help a little, but it will still be there, unfortunatley it is a problem that is common on all shaft drive bikes(my gl1200 and gl1500 goldwings both do it so you are not alone...hope this helps

How to remove rear wheel on suzuki intruder 1500 LC

to remove the wheel, all you need to do is remove the caliper from the right side with allen wrench, move caliper and the swing arm up and away from the wheel. remove axle, jack the bike up and wiggle the tire to the right side and down, do not remove the final drive (learned this lesson the wrong way!)

Battery removel for a 2004 suzuki 800 intruder

I know for the models till 2002 where the battery is located in front of the rear wheel.

Place the bike on her side stand
remove the negative battery lead at the left side, just below the transmission tube ( cone ) 10mm socket wrench
On the right side remove the security cap on the positive lead ( cross screwdriver ), then remove the positive lead.
The battery is hold in place with a 'floor plate'. remove both bolts of the floorplate ( on each side ) while holding the palte into place.
gently lower the plate and the battery.

I hope the 2004 model has the same assembly!
