SOURCE: rear blinkers do not work. checked bulbs but

it is under your seat right in front of your rear fender long black box runs from left to right wedged between batterie and fender

SOURCE: 1984 Honda interceptor brake light

Check the bulb first, check fuses, thn check if theres 'live' current to the brake light wire to the bulb socket (using a tester).
If theres no 'live' current to the bulb socket thn proceed to the brake light switch and check for the 'live' current to the wires there, one of the wires there should have a 'live' current of course having the igntion switch 'on'.
If theres is 'live' current there, thn the switch is faulty it may just need cleaning, try to clean by using WD-40,if it doesn't help thn replace it.
If you still have no 'live' current on any of the wires to the brake switch thn trace the wire (color) from the rear light socket and follow to the fuse box / ignition switch.
Hope this helps!

SOURCE: 1984 Honda V45 Sabre 750. whisling on decelleration

I'm quit sure its the main bearing which supports the crankshaft, sadly this is a complecated replacment and it could be costly, mostly because of the amount of disasembly involved in getting to the main bearing.

Where is the fuse box on a Honda vf500

Google isn't giving up much by way of location, but in my experience they are either under the seat or close to the battery for easy access. If the tank is quick release it may be under there, but that area tends to get damp.

And then I thought "how about finding the manual", and I did :>) It is taking too long to download on work wifi as it is 300 pages.

Here is a picture of one, and usually, they have a cover to keep water out.

Well i have a 1984 honda interceptor an its got a tick to it is it the timing change?? our is it the tightner?

I have a 1985 Honda Interceptor that I remember had a recall in 1984 for bad main bearings.

The engine new had a tick in it which was the valves opening and closing.

The engine has 4 valves per cylinder and is a V-four design.

I don't think you have any worries as long as it doesn't break on you.

I still have mine in the garage, but haven't run it for years.

Good luck in riding the bike around, as have many fond memories of doing so myself.

How do you install a timing chain for a 1984 honda interceptor 1000cc

you will probably need to find a manual, as the procedure covers a few pages, and it will explain the timing marks to reassemble.

1983 vf750 interceptor can't set timing using clymer manual valves hit?

Go to this site and you can download a free Factory PDF service manual. Most all of the manuals are in English but some are not. There is no way to be sure without doing the download. You can always delete it if in a foreign language.

Can a motorcycle cam chain be installed without seperating the crankcase.its a 1983 v45 interceptor rear camshaft chain.

No not unless you split the chain(not reccomended),if your changeing the chain i would suggest new chain tensioners frt and rear cyl. they where known to go bad,i replaced mine in my interceptor and my v65 magna.

Problem with the shifting

You have bent shift forks. I would replace all the forks in this case. This is a job for the shop. You would not want to tackle it at home. Most guys who do wind up taking a box of parts to the dealer. The repair costs more that way than if you just take them the bike.
Sorry for your problem.

Pleas rate this solution. Thanks!
