The stator wouldn't make it cut out.. do you know what rpm it's cutting out at. hey feel free to email me customsouth676@yahoo.com and i'll walk you through it and try to help you out.i'm pretty familiar with things of the nature... might even be a smaller fuel jet restricting you or a re stricter in the exhaust pipe or muffler or between the carb and head. give a shout and i'll try to help

Bike starts but has no power and it dose not seem to hit the rev limiter. just had new timing chain fitted new plug it also seems to get hot realy quick

There is a possibility that one (or both) of the cams may be one tooth out of time. Remove the head cover and spark plug then put the piston on TDC compression and check the cam gear alignment marks on both gears.

How many quarts and what oil synthtic or conventional

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell.
The quad should have an oil dipstick. If not, they usually have oil capacity embossed on the side casing just below the oil fill hole.

Loss of power

The problem is in the installation of the bearings and seals. Is it leaking oil? Try laying it on the flywheel side I would guess bad seal and sucking air. The motor should no be that hard to turn.
