Question about 2006 Harley Davidson FXDBI Street Bob

Install auxiliary running light and directional indicator mirrors

I want to install the auxiliary running light and directional mirrors, part # 92068-08 on to my 08 street Bob to replace the stock running lights/turn signal unit.

Problem is that the mechanic (an HD dealer/shop mechanic) said that the wiring for part # 92068-08 was not combatible wth the stock wiring. Evidently part # 92068-08 has two wires and the stock units have three. The result is that part # 92068-08 could only be wired as a turn signal and not as a running light and would not remove the stock units.

But all the threads I have been reseaching state that the part # 92068-08 can be wired fully functional and that the stock units can be removed. I am thinking that my mechanic is unfimilar with installing this part.

Can you sent any solutions or diagrams?

2007 dyna street bob will not turn over after warm up

Are the lights coming on? If not, check battery and battery connections for tightness. If lights are on, then I would check all fuses. Have you accidently hit the run/stop switch getting on bike?

The left side turn signals on my 2006 street bob stopped working. I changed the bulbs but still doesn't work. The front running light works, but won't flash when turn signal is turned on.

Contact me directly and I'll send you some troubleshooting information. It's out of an older service manual but the information is still good. The wire colors may be a bit different however. This forum will not allow for a file transfer of over 150Kb. I'll send four jpg files. Remind me of what you need.

Replacement of a stock fuel gauge on a '06 Harley Street Bob.

no need to remove tank, Remove terminal pins from connector under left side of tank then pull gauge and wires out. Install new gauge, replace terminal pins in their propper place in the connector, plug it in and varify the repair.
