Sometimes when I ride my 2002 RK 150 miles or more, the speedo quits, the signals won't cancel, and the idle drops to barely running. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey did you find out what it was, cause I have a 2005 RK and it did the same today. Checked all the fuses all are intact don't have a clue as to what the cause is.

Hi Chewie159, 1992 and later touring models, fuel pump fuses and relays will be behind the right side panel, everything else will be behind the left side panel to access fuses pull back on the front two locking tabs and slide the cover up. Good luck.

Horn fuse 2003 road king

Hi Anonymous, first check the wire connections to the horn making sure they are clean and tight, there is power going to it and the ground wire is securely fastened. Then look behind the horn body for a small set screw sometimes with a jam nut. This screw puts tension on the horn diaphram to vibrate alot or vibrate a little. Have someone hold in the horn button while you adjust the screw in or out as necessary. 1992 and later touring models, fuel pump fuses and relays will be behind the right side panel, everything else will be behind the left side panel to access fuses pull back on the front two locking tabs and slide the cover up. Good luck.

2003 road king speedometer stopped working & the mileage isn't changing either

Check to see if there is any back lighting.

Pull the speed sensor from the transmission case and if there are any metal filings on it clean them off and replace it. If there are not filings you may need to replace the sensor. The speedometer head itself or wiring conneftors could be the porblem as well.

Speedo, turn signals, brake lights, horn stopped working. All else is fine.

Gap your plugs to 38 thou. Check all your bulbs (one burned out will affect the rest) Take a look at all your fuses and make sure they are all ok. Otherwise you are probably looking at a wiring short which will require trouble shooting of the elctrical system. Buy your self a service manual for your bike, this will help you a lot.
