Sorry demac35, but the H1 and H2 have differnt size exhaust valves. This is causing me problems, as the exhaust valvles for the H2 are no longer available from new.

MT-049728 is the serial number on this kv75 mini bike can you tell me what year and it's aproxamate worth Kawasaki

The Kawasaki MT1 was manufactured from1971 to 1975. The motorcycle was renamed the Kawasaki KV75 and continued production from 1976 to 1980. The 1971 model featured external spring forks which were modified to internal spring forks for the 1973 model year. In 1976 the seat was modified to feature a latch and the air filter was upgraded to a washable foam type element. Riding the KV75 is a blast - the automatic 3-speed transmission is easy to operate and the single cylinder, two stroke engine produces a non-intimidating 4.2 HP @6,500 rpm. The MT / KV75 was designed to be easy to travel with as it featured fold down handlebars so that parents could easy stow the bike in the trunks of most vehicles.

There are various sites that offer VIN number decoding, but your serial number is too short.

Engine Number379090

The engine number will only tell you how old the engine is. It would be more help if you mention the model of the bike. But to be sure of the date of the machine you should take the chassis number to a kawasaki dealer. They can tell you the age and model of the vehicle from that. The chassis number is usually on the headstock of the frame.

I am looking to check and see if by the stamp on my kawasaki motorcycle engine you can tell me what year and model the engine is

The engine number is worthless. The frame number is the key. If your bike is 1980 or so, pray that it has 17 alpha numeric digits in the number. Les than 17 and finding the information requested is pretty hard. If it does have 17 digits, go to this website http://www.motoverse.com/tools/vin/kawasaki.asp tombones49_296.gif

Good afternoon, I've just bought a 1991 KLE 500 but it doesnt have any manual with it. I'm trying to find out what the positions are for the fuel cut-off switch on the left hand side of the bike as there...

You can go to Kawasaki.com and get the manual for "YOUR" bike. They have manuals for owners of 1986 to the present. The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) must be entered in order to retrieve it. VIN # IS_SEQUENCE OF17 DIGITS. **EXAMPLE ***** JKAVFKA16VB508039 *****
After you find & download the manual ,you may need Adobe reader to open it with.
Here is a picture where to find the number and the web-page to enter your info.

Kx250k-023922 is frame no and kx250ke018659 is engine no. can anyone one tell me what year this bike is. thanks

If it were 2000 and newer the frame number would be 17 digits long and the tenth digit from the left would designate the year. Even the older bikes have more digits than what is shown. Bottom line is that the numbers are not all there. Sorry.

Kawasaki zx4r import.

You just need to make a couple of phone calls. Try a Kawasaki dealer close to your city. The USA dealers can check the frame VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and tell you what you have. Since the bike was not intended for USA shipment, there is a possibility that only a Euro dealer would have the information. Find a Euro dealer on the web, then call or email for the information.

I bought a kx125h,but the engine# is grind,on the left of cylinder i see a numbr like 1840.can u tell me if thats the bike engine???of what year??thanks BEN

With a grinding of the engine number you can tell very little. Even with the number you can tell very little. Actually, the frame number is the key to identification. Look on the frame just ahead of the gas tank. Between the forks there is a steering stem where the entire front end attaches to the bike. Look on the stem for the number. Any dealer can tell you exactly what you have if given the number.

Please give a top rating for this answer. Thanks!

I am looking to purchase a 2007 kawasaki kx250f

Just call your local Kawasaki dealer, or any Kawasaki dealer, and give them the VIN number and they can look it up and tell you EXACTLY what the bike is. If you call a local dealer they may know the current owner and the bike's history.

Simple thing but easy to overlook. Could I get a 4 diamond rating for this solution? I am 3 short of 100 correct answers. Thanks!
