You have a shorted wire to the headlight switch or a shorted out headlight switch. If you know how to use an OHM METER you can check the circuits easily

1994 940 Volvo wagon turbo has intermittent electrical problems. Blinker on dash stays lit. Dash lights go out but will come back. Radio stopped working then both radio and CD player stopped working all...

It truly sounds like a loose or faulty/corroded ground wire. Almost 99% of the electrical problems I have experienced with Volvo's are loose wire related. There are a number of ground wires underneath the hood grounding the engine. However my first suspect would be the connections on the alternator and battery.

Hope this helps.

The speedometer, odometer, and mileage on my 1997 Kawasaki 1500 Classic have stopped working. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

it;s most likely the cable but it could also be the drive gear or the speedo its self. remove cable from speedo and start the bike if cable turns its the speedo then just work your way back

My speedometer on my "03 Heritage started fluttering then went down to zero where it doesn't move now. The odometer reading lights up however it isn't logging additional mileage since the speedo went to...

Sounds like the electronic sensor has quit working. I don't know of any way to check it. I have heard of people taking them out and finding a small piece of metal stuck to it making it inoperative. You might try cleaning it but that's as much as I can tell you about that. I don't know much about the electronics on the newer bikes. They're getting motorcylces to where the owner can't work on them anymore. Got to take them to the dealer. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Good Luck

Odometer and trip odometer stopped working. Speedometer works.

The problem is going to be a worn or broken odometer gear. You can purchase the gear at odometergears.com for $29.00 with the shipping. Follow their how to repair on the Mustang to help in the repair. I believe you will have just the worm gear to replace.

Electrical problem?

If you haven't fixed it yet...
check your fuses. when lots of things suddenly stop working at once usually means you have a blown fuse.
