Question about 1999 kawasaki ZXR 400

I have just bought a 1997 zxr400. on getting this home i have started it and stoped it and when trying to start again no lights or anything comes on. i have checked the battry and this is fine have checked all fuses these are also fine. i have no other ideas

Take it back to where you got it and make them refund your purchase price. If they refuse and you finianced it go to them, There a law called "The Lemon Law" that makes it unlawful to sell something like that. Sounds like you sure bought one. 05 corvette push button start wont work and batt is not dead it worked fine all day then when I got home it stoped working all of a sudden. when I push it all the lights come on and so does the ignition...


YOU NEED TO GET THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AS THIS NOT A BUTTON PROBLEM BUT A CONTROL UNIT. YOU CAN ALSO TRY TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND DO RESET . LEAVE THE BATT OFF FOR 30 MINS AND RECONNECT AGAIN.

Just bought a 2001 vs800 intruder,got it home and will not start


If you're getting no lights then it is either the ignition switch or the battery is not making connection. Check the battery with a multi-meter. Check the fusebox with a multi-meter, any power to any fuses there with key on?

test the charging system w/ a multimeter,to test the alternator and voltage regulator and wiring w/ connectors.

Make sure you are getting spark at plugs. Coil may be going.
