Make sure the wires are properly grounded. If there's any rust or corrosion, sand it clean. The flasher relay might be bad, but if you skip the relay, you can test the lights anyway. If they don't work, it's probably broken ground.

HI there
These sorts of problems can be hard to find. Best place to start if fuse is good, is check for power getting to the flasher relay itself. you should also have an earth, power in and flash out. If you see no power at all to the flasher relay, then you will need to trace back the power feed to check where you loose it. If there is power into the flasher relay, and nothing out, then the flasher is crook. If there IS power out of the relay, then there you will need to look for a break in connections to the handlebar switch. From the handle bar switch power goes to left and right front rear and idiot lights. I would be expecting either the flasher, or wiring/connectors to the flasher.

Blinkers not working

the manual in your glovebox should have detailed info on the fuses. sometimes there will be a relay plug on the fuse panel beneath the dash but usually relays are under the hood. you should see a bank of relays for fuel pump and more

The hazards use a separate relay. listen for signal relay clicking to locate the correct relay. Consult your owners manual for fuse and relay layout.

The blinkers dont work

Assuming that you've checked the regular fuses, have you checked the relay for the blinkers? If not, one way to do so is the switch the relay for the hazard lights with the relay for the blinkers and see if that solves the problem. If it does, replace the relay so you have both blinkers and hazard lights.

Windshield wipers don't work. Not the fuse. Also my blinkers don't work. Had to take out fuse. If let in driver side blinker stays on. Arm does not do anything

Hi,

Start with the easy stuff. Since you've already ruled out fuses, both issues sound like bad relays. The blinker relay is usually in the fuse panel and cheap to replace.

The wiper relay if I'm not mistaken is in the switch assembly on the steering column. This is a little more expensive because you have to replace the whole switch assembly.

Good luck!

The blinkers on my 96 Chevy Blazer don't work and I checked where the manual told me to change the fuse but the fuse is perfect. Now what? Thank You

There is a blinker modulator/regulator relay that needs to be replaced. It is one of the larger metal blocks beside the fuses. Ask O'reilly's or your local dealership for the fuse box schematic to locate the blinker relay and switch them out. I would expect it to be around $20. I had this problem with my 96' and the relay was the cause.

Blinkers

If you can turn the blinker on left or right and the light comes on but doesn't blink......Open the drivers door, there is a fuse box, On the side of the dash.. The relay willl be a small silver canister looking relay in with the fuses.. put your finger on it and turn the blinker on.. you should feel and hear a click...( With the key in the on position ).. That is what needed replaced if it doesn't keep clicking...Thats the turn signal relay... What makes it blink.......Hope this helps..
Please rate this solution if it helps... Thank You.....

In the fuse box there will be those black boxes, they are called relays, there will be one of them for the flasher. You could swap this with a known good one (AC or something) and see if that helps your problem
