Hi,generally speaking yes, they have a very forgiving engine with gentle power delivery(no sudden surges of power like sports bikes)they are also very comfy to ride and yet even though it is only a 250 it will cruise quite comfortably at highway speed..enjoy..hope this helps

Hi i have a 2004 virago 250 can you help me get side covers off to see tool kit.thay feel firm & i dont want to break them also do you know where i can get a manual thanks heaps

The side panels are PULL OFF. There is a spigot near each corner (i.e. 3) that go through rubber grommets to hold it on
Pull the corners away from the bike

Ride safe

1990 Yamaha Virago 535 Parts interchangeable with 2001 virago 250

Sure mirrors, nuts, bolts and screws. Maybe a fender and a bit of other stuff. But for the most part not much will match up and now you have this ugly monster in your garage and your next job is to figure out exactly how you are going to get rid of the da-- thing. Look a bit harder and get a match for your bike. Now you have something worthwhile.

A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks!
