lift the seat and find the battery then remove the two terminal wires and any strap or clamp ! lift out the battery and replace in reverse order !

usually the battery is under your seat, but you can always put the bike in first gear, pull in the clutch push the bike and pop the clutch, should fire right up.

Take off the left side cover. The battery is behind the fuse box and comes out the left side of the bike.

Honda Shadow 600 is an awsome bike. Its fuel capacity is 9.00 litres (2.38 gallons). The average mpg is 62 per gallon.

I replaced the starter silenoid in my 96 Honda Shadow VT1100c2


Hi and welcome to FixYa,

If everything has been checked as good, correct then a possibility is that the starter cable terminal and the battery cable terminals were installed the other way around to the starter relay. Switch terminals.

might wanna get battery terminal wires replaced. stop at auto zone and get your battery checked to. its free. long shot but possibly alternator
