My transmision looks like it is low of fluide what kind dose it take 1991 1200 sporter

A low transmision fluid will will cause the transmision to slip . When you press the gas the engine will rev up ( while in Drive) but the car won't move or will move a little . If the fluid gets low enough it the car won't move at all.

Low of fluid, or bad transmisison. If not low on fluid, replace or have transmision rebuilt.

I think its a vacum line to the transmision !! May more discriptions??

For this year Grand Am GT you will want to use Dex III fluid (ONLY) If you use any other fluid you will be spending some money and time in a transmission repair shop. I hope this information was helpful

2005 Chevy Malibu has a sealed transmission with no dipstick, so you can't check the transmission fluid level without getting underneath the car and looking at the transmission itself.

Locate the transmission. Look for a small plug with a hex bolt on the passenger side of the transmission, adjacent to the passenger side front tire.

Start the engine and let it warm up to regular operating temperature. Remove the hex bolt from the plug hole in the side of the transmission with a wrench or socket. If transmission fluid flows freely from the hole, the fluid level is correct. If it barely drips, or no fluid comes out, the transmission fluid level is low.

YOU NEED CHECK TRANSMISION FLUID LEVEL SOUND LOW.IF FLUID LOOKS DARK SMELL BURNT YOU NEED A TRANSMISSION FLUID AND FILTER CHANGE.

If it is trans fluid the cooler inside your radiator must have a leek. Yes it is possible for it to get itno the trans. Check to see if the fluid is milky.

More than likely you are low on transmission fluid.  Check your fluid level.  The proper way to check it is with the vehicle idling, warm, and on a level surface in park.

Check the fluid., check it while engine is running and warm. Drive it around the block or to the store and check it when you get back while its on a level surface. Do you ever see leaks on the ground under your car and have any of them stopped recently, could be low on or out of fluid. (Can never be all the way out of fluid, but way too low.)
