Repaired brake line .need to reset light on dash

You need to put a scanner on the ecm/computer for the truck and reset or delete the code in the computer. This is all assuming the broken line has been fixed and the lines bleed. The abs light is for the brake system and there is a valve in the line that when the line breaks it shuts off the line in the front or rear of the truck that has a break in it. You need to be sure the valve is shifted to the center position again and this will usually happen when you bleed the fluid after fixing the line or you will need to replace the valve in the brake line. In the master cylinder there a float when level of brake fluid low the brake light come on in the dash gently tap on the master cylinder the float is probably jam at the bottom good luck

Is it the "brake"repair light blinking & chiming?? Or is it the "ABS" brake light blinking/chiming. Brake light should be red, ABS amber

The brake system has sprung a fluid leak, don't try to drive it until it's repaired. You may be able to locate the leak by looking under the car for fluid on the ground. This could be anything from a rusted-out steel line to a piston on a wheel.

Brake warning light could mead a damaged ABS senser, perhaps happened when the brake line was replaced

You have to repair the anti lock brake system in order to reset the light. It is not cheap. Most people don't repair it, they just put tape over the light. you still have brakes, just don't have anti lock brakes. My light has been on for 10 years, I took the bulb out of the dash. But I didn't tell you what to do, just what I did. You will have to decide. Hope this helps.

This Light Indicates 1 of 2 things, 1. Is the BRAKE FLUID Level is LOW, Or 2. That the Parking BRAKE is Applied. Check Fluid and Top Off If Needed, There is A LINE that Shows The PROPER Level.

check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder. make sure its up to the MAX line. there is no reset for the brake light. either the fluid level is low or the level sensor in the master cylinder is faulty. you may want to take the car back to the person that performed the repair and have them make sure there are no leaks.

you probably push air into the ABS unit when getting your lines replace but the Traction Control light might be on because the system might use the wheel speed sensor on the ABS unit to enable the Traction Control.......

the stratus is know for clasped rear brake hoses .This stops the flow off brake fluid. try opening the brake lines at the master cylinder that go to the rear.pump up brakes first! if you got fluid than check the brake line if this is rear disc brakes on the line at the rear will be a built in proportioning valve.if drum loosen rubber hose line before the rubber part to see if you have fluid. If you do replace the brake hose! On you 74 challenger by the way i love dodge! any way on the valve there is a small button on the front of the proportioning valve that pops out it needs to be tap in lightly. also hit the brake peddel kind of hard a couple off times if that doesn't work. thanks for your question
