You need to get a multimeter or a test light. Unplug the connector attached to the fan that is not working and check for 12volts of power at the connection. If you have power at the connection then your fan motor is bad and you will need a new one. If you do not have power at the connection then I would check the fan relays associated with the system. They are usually located in a black box under the hood and they should be marked. Your fan relay may have gone bad. You can also checked the fuses inside thec ar and make sure you do not have a blown fuse, if you have a blown fuse it may be just a fluke or it could be a sign of an intermittant shorting problem in the wiring of the the fan and attached components.

We first have to determine whether its the a/c fan or the cooling fan.
Turn on the a/c , the fan that is working when you turn on a/c is your a/c fan.The one that doesn't is your cooling fan.
I would check the fan first disconnect the electrical connectors on it and use a pair of home made jumper cables and run it from the battery. If it works move unto relay if it doesn't you've found the culprit.
Next check relay in the fuse box. Coolant tempertant switch(CTS) aka thermal switch and its circuit. CTS is usually located in the water jacket by the t-stat.

The simplest way to tell if it's the fan or the relay (thermostatic switch) is to unplug both fans and then plug the "bad" fan into the "good" fan's connector. (NOTE: you may need to remove the fan from its mount in order to reach the plug on the other fan.) If the fan now works, you need to replace the relay. If it doesn't work, the fan itself is bad and will need to be replaced. You can pick up a new fan or relay at any reputable parts store.

Front blower motor town country intermitantly stops working. Rear blower works fine.

Most likely the motor is going bad, but it could be the switch. If fiddling with the switch will make it work sometimes, replace the control panel. Otherwise, replace the motor.

Blower Motor will not work when resister is installed.

Check the contact connection on the connector, many times these overheat and melt the surrounding plastic. You may need to replace the connector wire harness.

I have a 2006 Tahoe with rear and front blowers and climate control. The front air stopped operating, but rear works fine. I replaced the blower motor resistor and air immediately started working again. ...

Hello: Remove the panel under the passenger side of the dash, look to front of truck, you will see the blower, follow the wires from the blower motor to the module, remove the connector and see if the terminals are burnt. If so GM has a repair harness to replace the burnt connector, if you need it make sure you have the connector positioned correctly so you get the wires in the proper order. In some cases the module may also be burned and if so it should also be replaced.

is the car running hot? some cooling fans never come on going down the road because the air comjng through the front of the vehicle keeps the car cool enough that it doesn't need to come on. but if it is overheating then you may want to check the cooling fan relay.

you know the thing has run 400k miles, that is 300k past it designed life. break down and buy a new fan for it, it will set you back about 60 bucks. if you can replace the resistor, you can change the fan. a new set of plugs, plug wires, and a set of tires may be warranted as well.

Front fan just stopped working...back one is fine.

{: ) It could be the BLWR fuse 40amp at the underhood fuseblock, a faulty blower resistor assembly, or the front blower motor itself.

My blower motor stopped working, front and back of van.

My rear blower motor stopped working and my Brother took the unit apart. He found out that the fan blade had seized up the unit. After he took out blade and sanded down blades, it worked fine. However, I am not sure about your front unit. Good luck.
