Get a big long tray, like a paper hanger tray, or longer, Get the fork in there and pull the end off, a lot of forks are different, so I will generalize. some have a drain plug in the bottom, either way, get the oil out, pull the spring out, pull the shiny part out of the bottom, replace your seal, when going back together, the spring has to be depressed and the nut spun back on, with the pre-measured oil in there, I would get a book to explain this better, it is kinda hard to do without being there. I'm not sure what you have in the bottom for a keeper, but they are different. Hope this helps.
