If I take my hands of the bars of my FJR1300 I get a violent front end wobble. The lightest touch of the bars stops it. Any ideas as to the cause?.
Yeah, I'd say your front wheel is out of balance, might have thrown a wheel weight. Or somebody put some flat repair in there and it gobbed up in one spot. Get the wheel balanced, high speed, and if it still wobbles, get a steering damper on there. I had one om my monster when I bought it , but didn't really need it, so I took it off,. Hope this helps.

Possible Wheel Balance Out, Check No Wheel lead Is missing
First off,... STOP taking your hands off the bars. Then check your front tire for scalloping even moreso if it has **** Bridgestone 021's on it. THEN get you'r *** over to the fjr fourm. where you need to be asking this question.....Unless of course you don't want to know everything about the bile you are driving....

It's such a shame, I have a 2014 Yamaha fjr1300 and I have the same problem!
The mechanics at an authorized Yamaha dealer
can't figure it out. very frustrating. Tried
changing the tires several times with no luck.
Dont know what to do nest.
