The battery is under the oil cooler directly vbehind the front wheel, behind a black or chrome cover you must remove 2 bolts to remove the cover to access the battery,

I own a suzuki ,and thats normally wher the battery is located ,You will have to ring the suzuki dealer and ask for some advice ,there not that small so may be located in the side panels .Either way you need to get the battery off the bike and charge it up for a few hours or ,purchase a new one .they only have a battery life of a few years and if the bike is not used for long periods its best to purchase a top up unit which will keep your battery topped up all the time .

Battery definitly not under your seat, thats wher your fuel tank is.

Keirvine is right, it's at the front of the engine and you get to it by taking the top cover off.

The carbs overflows when trying to start the bike

The floats may have stuck or the bowls haven't been put back together correctly. You will probably have to remove and strip the carbs. make sure you make note of everything as you are stripping them. Lots of little bits and pieces which can go back in the wrong way or go missing...

Car shut off while driving and won't restart, gauges flicker

If it is a 2006 then you probably need a new battery, which is located under the hood of the car. If the gauges flicker, the battery is probably too dead to start the whole car, but it will still try to start it. Hoped it helped.

Fuel pump fixed, turns over but still won't start

I don't know much about these but on my daughters 1.0i polo I had to reset the throttle with a computer after disconnecting the battery for a while.
If you are sure you have a spark and fuel getting to the plugs then the fault will lie with timing and fuel mixture.

I have a 1980 Suzuki GS750L. I left the brake light on over night and as a result the battery is dead. I jumped the bike with my car battery. (The car wasn't running) The bike started and I rode it...

Yes, yes, and no, and I don't know. You could have blown a fuse, but it seems it would be showing other symptoms if you did. THe age of the battery is a good indication of condition, over one year old, suspect, over 2 years old, definitely could be in need of replacement. Check the water in the battery and fill it to the level with bottled water, or rain water, no minerals, then get one of those floaty ball testers and check the electrolyte fluid weight, One dead cell, the battery is shot. Could have been not enough time to charge it back it up. A battery charger needs to run all night. So, check it out, hope this helps.

The bike sat for nine months I kept it in the garage and covered but when try starting nothing happens but oil light

Sounds like the battery may not be charged. Put a charger on the battery, bring to a full charge. Try starting. If it won't crank, locate a load tester and check the battery for weakness/dead cell. If the battery is not the problem, the starter/starter solenoid may have corroded/dirty contacts.

I just bought a 1989 kawasaki but im having trouble starting it, but i think the battery is dead. i want to know how to change the battery

Hi,
It is located below your seat. Just try open your seat or from sides of bike. Check the AH of battery and replace it with similar one.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, have you checked the 30 Amps main fuse and its holder clips? It would be integrated with the starter relay. The fuse or the fuse holder may have heat related problem(s) causing it to loose conductivity when hot.The fuse may require replacement even if it tests good and/or the fuse holder would need cleaning / crimping. To locate the starter relay (main fuse), follow the battery cable from the + terminal of the battery.

Please postback results.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.
