Wont start has firering spark

Check fuel firer or see if the fuel pump is working

all cars , gas (otto cycle)
it only takes 3 things to run.
good engine. (compression test time number of cylinders) WOT.
good spark. (test it)
good fuel mix. (spark tips wet or dry)

if the engine is good, and the spark is hot and timed right.
try test fuel if engine is not flooded, (is it?)

try test fuel, if tool less or no money for a real mechanic.

Fuel fiter,tune up,coils module.

Check power levels and then try and jump it. If nothing you may have a short thats some that is hard to trace back check all point of contact all the way to spark plugs make sure you are getting firer to the plugs. You may have to take it in. Now make sure the new starter is in line properly

check for spark first and then fuel then go from their

its possible you have a filter in your tank or farther up your line near the fuel rail. look for another filter and make sure you have fuel to the filter you just replaced. could have clogged it again if you have alot of rust and setament in your tank.

I have an 87 fox that won't start. Got good spark, so it must be fuel. The car wants to start but no fuel. I understand that a 87 Fox has 2 fuel pumps. One for the top of the tank and one for the bottom. I know the bottom one died years ago but now I believe the top one has gone. Where can I find it on the car and how can I check. Or do you think it may be something else?

check the fuel filter and also check the fuse for the sending unit and all of the vaccum lines and the one behind the throttle body as well

check the crank sensor or the cam sensor behind the pully,s to make sure there plugged in.

If the spark for the coil is not hot hot enough it wont fire plugs... I assume you have checked wires
