There is a safety switch on the clutch pedal-it is called a clutch interlock switch. Unless the clutch is depressed (so the switch is on), the power won't pass from the key switch to the starter to start the car. Check your clutch safety switch. It will be up high on the pedal, or mounted close to the pedal so the pedal operation will actuate the switch. It may be defective, or it may have slipped out of position.

My cluch is not releacing

The clutchs start to stick together after they have been sitting for a while. Most of the time, you can hold the brake and clutch while starting, and they will break loose. If not, you'll have to remove the clutch cover and seperate the clutch discs, then put them back in.

hi.
a clutch sticking on after storage is not unusual. i find that if i put the bike in 2nd gear, pull the clutch lever in and rock the bike back and forth quite hard a few times that the clutch will free off. just make sure that the ingintion is turned off, or the lead is removed from the spark plug, to make sure that the bike cannot start. this has never failed me yet, and some of the bikes i have done this with were stored for quite a number of years. hope this helps

Transmission slow to start

the trasmission fluid leval may be low or your cluches are slipping. check the trasmission fluid leval with the engan wormed up and the trasmition in park pull the dip stike with yellow on it and check the level alsow smell the dip stick if it smells burnt the the tran fluid need to be changed.
if it is low put tranmition fluid in it by using a long funal and put the fluid in the tranmition dip stike tube. If the leval is full and the fulid is not burnt it might be trasnmiton cluches and the tranmition needs to be rebilt.
