Question about 2002 Triumph TT 600
Trying to determine if my fuel pump died on my 02 TT600. I no longer hear the initial whine when you turn the key. Pulled the fuel pump out and checked for 12 volts input. The 12V is present. Are there any other checks I can do to determine bad fuel pump before I spend $200 plus for a new fuel pump?
Yes, you can remove the outlet pipe from the fuel pump and see if there is a flow of gas as you switch on the ignition taking care to have a container to catch the gas from the outlet pipe.
If there's no flow of fuel....means either its dead or may have some obstraction at the inlet of the pump.
Hope this helps!
