You cast your Mark I Eyeball on the speaker wires then buy something like it at Home Depot. Lamp cord will probably suffice and it's cheap. Buy a spool of it. Then you TURN THE UNIT OFF and carefully splice in the desired length of wire (*), one conductor at a time so you don't criss-cross anything. Make sure you leave NO conductors exposed in the joints.

* They make a number of solderless splicing devices. Ask the guys at HD when you buy the wire.

RCA DVD Home Theater System popping noise now wont turn on

if no any power indicator the first place to be check is the power supply where in the fuse get blow. if the fuse blown with darkened color that was mean has shortened line, might the amplifier circuit get damaged that cause of popping before it totally down.check for bad amplifier ic and shorted diodes.

RCA Home Theater model RTD315W

  • You need to change your audio settings in your TVs audio menu. Sounds like it is set to play only external source when connected, There will be a setting for all speakers to play, including TV's. Have your TV's volume up just a hair when changing your settings and you will be able to hear when it changes to what you want.

I have a RCA RTD315W home theater system. Are the speakers suppose to work with regular TV? Or does it just work in DVD mode? If it is suppose to work with the TV do i need a HDMI cord to make it work?

I have a RCA DVD Home Theater System, RTD315W. The "On/Standby" light is on (displaying a blue light), no other features are working. When I press a feature buttom, the blue light goes out. System just isn't working. System haven't been exposed to water/moisture. What the problem?
