How do I connect the wiring harness from a 1996 cavalier to a harness from a 2001 cavalier?

not that be hard.
buy both FSM,
put both schematic before your eyes.
you are jumping many generatations.

why not just move the long block and leave car stock.
odd why are you making this 1000x harder than need be.....????
do not move manifolds, just block and head long block.
the ECU/PCM is totally different.

The cart will not go not sure it's wired up right

You need to have a schematic from the manufacturer to wire up this cart. Please go on line with the manufacturer and request a wiring schematic. THe controller controls the output of the battery to the drive motor, but the schematic of the controller can be very different from one to the next.

Need wiring schematic for ametek 119550

I had the same problem after not paying attention to the connections when replacing my motor. I spent days searching for information and only found several non-answers with small photos that no one can read.I contacted Oreck for wiring information. They explicitly stated that they can't provide any wiring information for safety and liability reasons.

I found the Ametek schematic which shows the LINE and TAP locations on the motor.

Note: I have a 2600HH XL with 2 headlights.

Connect as follows:

3A, LINE: White lead w/piggy back terminal from light harness #1 & white lead from the power harness to the piggy back terminal
2A, TAP: Black lead from light harness #1
3B, LINE: White lead w/piggy back terminal from light harness #2 & black lead from the power harness
2B, TAP: Black lead from light harness #2

GE Washing Machine Replacement Motor - Capacitor? Relay? Schematic?

The new units have all of your schematics, capacitor and a higher price for a reason. With GE I avoid used parts because there is so much electronics you don't want to fry. The wire harness leads match the old and there should not be an extra wire, were would it go if there is not a receptacle for it?
I looked up your unit and the motor replacement is WH20X10009 for the model you quoted. As of now GE is has updated this to model wh20x10006 for around 263 dollars.
