2001 raptor 660 won't idle, only runs with choke on, an won't take throttle???

need your carb rebuilt or your carb readjusted. sounds like you might have some mud in it. do you take it in the mud? if so check the top where the throttle cable comes through.

How do i go about changing the rear bearings on my 2003 660 Raptor.

loosen both chain tensioners, remove big nut from shaft, lift rear wheel off ground on centerstand or blocks under frame.push wheel all the way forward, pop chain off. with aluminun drift, knock out wheel shaft (take note of any spacer and washer locations), remove wheel. with same aluminun rod, tap the bearings out, from the inside out. its agood idea to use new bearing seals too. put it all back together, same sequence as removed. dont forget to grease em up good

Back fireing 660 raptor

when its hot and humid you could be having a ignition coil or cable problem.check cables and replace plugs, then take it from there. have your ignition coil tested also. backfiring is a sure sign of an ignition problem
