My 2005 Shadow Spirit 750 has 2 spark plugs per cylinder. So for that model year the answer is yes. It is the same as the 2003 model year, so most likely it applies to your 2002. Two plugs are accessible from the sides, and the top plugs are only accessible by removing the tank. The tank is held by one bolt, under the seat. So the two seat bolts, then that slides off to the rear, then you can get to the tank bolt. My model has a dash on the tank so those two bolts to remove that, and let it hang. Then you'll have access to the plugs. NGK plugs for my model.

A single bolt holds down the back of the passenger seat. Take it out and lift the back of the seat and pull it off toward the back of the seat. This will expose the bolt at the back of the driver seat. Remove the bolt, lift the back of the seat, and pull it toward the back of the seat to remove it.
