A "bent valve" is pretty serious stuff and is an indicator of much more serioius trouble. Im not sure I would put that kind of repair $ into a 27 year old motorcycle. If you really want to keep it going, try replacing the engine.

Is it an interference or noninterference engine? Think timing chain has broke

Broken timing chain is a very large problem, if it happened while engine is running. Bent/broken valves and such. Makes a LOT of noise, and engine stops immediately.

Your question doesn't include make/model/year, so your question isn't possible to answer. Doesn't really matter, though, if your timing chain broke. That's pretty rare. Timing belt, yes. Chain, no.

Air intake system has smoke coming out of it

This Could be a lot more major then what you may think. The valves in the motor could be bent and causing the the breath valves to not be closing properly, Bent valves could be caused by over heating or the timing belt not being replaced every 100000ks or 62000miles. The timing could also be out. I would sugest you dont run the car any more and have it taken to a mechanic to have the timing checked

Does a broken timing belt automatically mean bent vales?

No you don't always bend valves typically with 4 or 6 cylinder engines are equiped with free floating engines that when the chains or belts break it allows the engine from creating greater damage to other parts of your engine

Changed timing belt but has misfire and shakes a lot mechanic says timing is fine

fire the mechanic, yes, he is incompetent. totally.
send him back to ASE school. he is a noob, i promise you.

my guess, wild and usually wrong, is he put the spark wire back wrong,
firing order , ignored.

did you bend the valve.
an ASE pro, checks compression or does a leak down test (vastly safer the latter) to see if the valve stems were bent.
we do that to prevent the dumb mech, caused cascade effect.
i skips this check and then cracks pistons or head. boom.
it a honda, most are interference enignes.
never skip belt changes or use belts of lower quality than Honda or GATES. ever.

My Hero Honda Glamour (2008 byke without disk brake)is emmiting white smoke.

That seems a big job, did he say how much he will charge to do it?

I think, unless you are an engineer you will need a manual to do a job like that, although you may find one somewhere on the Internet, if I were to attempt that I would prefer to have a paper one, I could refer to as I went along.

When the timing chain breaks does it usually damage anything else or will replacing the timing chain and gears take care of the problem?

When the timing chain breaks the cam quits turning. Any valves that are open, remain open.
If the motor is turned over trying to start it or bump starting it in gear, the pistons come up and
hit the open valves. Bent valves are common. If it is a 4 cylinder only a couple valves will be open
at a time so you may damage 2 or 4 (there are usually 2 per cylinder so a 4 cylinder has 8).
You could replace the chain, make sure the timing marks align with eahother and the chain but
just getting the cam and crankshaft to alignment could cause some damage. Good luck. I did
it to mine once. Bent 4 of the 8 and had to pull the head, sent to the machine shop and reassemble.
I tried to bump start mine down a 2 mile hill. Ohh well! It's fixable.

I was riding along on my vfr 400 nc24 when i heard a bad clunk and started belching blue smoke, lots of smoke the bike has competly died now have i blown the engine?

Chances are there is a hole in a piston or a piston ring is broken. A timing chain could have broken or jumped so that a piston hit an open valve. Either way, it is time to visit your dealer.

Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?

Timing belt broke

I've heard that honda engines are made so that if your timing belt does brake theres enough room for them not to hit the valve cover, but hey i could be wrong only way to find out is to take off the valve cover and inspect
