Question about 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 1000

1 Answer

I have a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R1000. It has approx. 17k miles. I have recently had an intermittent problem with my bike. When I get the RPMs over 5000, the engine will shut down. The lights will stay on, and the motorcycle will continue to coast. Then, after about 2 seconds the motorcycle will kick and resume its same speed and RPMs. I have tried to pull in the clutch when this happened, and the motorcycle shut down completely. One of the times, the bike took several minutes to get restarted. What is causing this problem?

How do i change the clock settings on a suzuki gsx r1000 from miles to kilometres .brought the bike but there is no handbook with it.

Press SELECT until your odometer reading is displayed.

Press SELECT and hold then immediately press ADJUST and hold it as well.

Keep holding both and your miles should switch to kilometers.

If it does not and your timing is ok, try pushing ADJUST first, holding, and pressing SELECT second, holding both until it changes.
