After removing the four bolts for the passenger hand grips, place your hand at the rear of the seat and lift upward approximately 3-4 inches, pull seat to the rear and the front tang should remove from the holder.

I am trying to change the front marker bulb on 1986 goldwing 1200, it is beside the headlight. Does anyone know how to get it out?

you have to remove the head lights as a set the maker light are part of the assemble. remove the grill just below the lights, under that remove the 2, 6mm bolts. on the top pop the bezel panel loose by pulling out on the bottom off it just above the headlight, remove the 2, 6mm bolts there and the entire headlight assemble will come out. hope this helps get your problem solved. Want to replace all exhaust on 1986 gold wing

Not OEM material? Just make sure all bolts locations are matching and not obstructing the fairing or any other parts. You may not get the same comfortable performance as OEM but you do gain some upper extras.

I have a 1986 Honda Aspencade I am having problems with the compressor system. I have been told that the contacts may be dirty. Not quit sure how to open it up tio take a look or a way to quick check it so...

The compressor is located under the right ( foot brake side) fairing pocket. remove it, and you can see it. Is tight to work like that on it though so to really get at it you need to remove the false tank shelter

Is there a schedule for changing the timing belts?

You may get different times from different sources...but every two (2) years or every 100,000 miles which every comes first.
Generally (and no I do not know ever Gold Wing owner or mechanic) two (2) years is the standard. Hope this helps.
