I have a TroyBilt trimmer Model TB25CS 2 cycle. I have replaced the carb mounting gaskets and rebuilt the Zama Carb. It idles fine, but when I give it full throttle it just dies. There is a white and...

first remove your muffler and check to see if screen is plugged in exhaust..this will cause it not to rev. Also if you rebuilt your carb you neglected to pull your jets out and flush them out, pull both caps off adj screws with small screwdriver and try to adj "H" turn counterclockwise 1/8to 1/4 turn and see if it improves any if so keep turning till rpms start to slow back down then slowly turn back clockwise just till on edge of rpms speeding back up ,also did you change your fuel filter? hope this helps you!

Will not idle. Will not start hot or cold without throttle 1/4 open. Once started will rev well but when revs drop it cannot be recovered and it just dies. Needs choke wether hot or cold to start and 1/4...

By your description, it sounds like the pilot jet is plugged in the carb. Remove carb and clean thoroghly with carb cleaner and air, making sure that all jet passages are clear. Make sure that washer and "o" ring are present on fuel mixture screw, if so equipped. Make sure float level is correct.

Yamaha banshee will idle beautiful.but when u give it gas fast or slow it bogs down...i cleaned the carbs and ive tuned the **** out this thing.in a turn out half turn in 3/4 turn all night and cant get it...

This is an easy one - there is a mouse nest in your airbox or in the muffler. To find out disconnect the exhaust at the cylinders and start and rev the engine - if it is OK its in the muffler. If it still bogs take the airbox and filter apart and clean them out.

My banshee keeps sticking in high revs

Your throtle cable or the carb it stisking. Check the cable for kinks and lube the cable that goes threw the cable housing with cable lube. Do not use w-40 cause it attacks dirt.

Banshee running wide open after a couple of revs

The problem with vents is that a vent can get plugged and lessen or completely kill the flow of fuel. They will not make an engine rev wildly. Your banshee has standard carbs. The throttle cables may be routed incorrectly, pinching or stretching the cables. Remove the air filters. Look inside the carbs. Do the slides move freely up and down when the throttle is twisted? In the diagram below note the junction tube on the throttle cabel. The cable can stick at inside the tube. Is the connector hose between the carbs in place? Also, there is a switch on top of the carb. This can go haywire also. Odd that the problem was not present before they cleaned the carbs.

Banshee wont rev

Usually related to TORS, specifically the safety switch in the clutch/park brake assembly. If it's defective the engine won't rev. Solution: look for a TORS removal kit.

2002 YAMAHA BANSHEE WILL NOT REV

When was the last time new crank bearings and seals were installed? With all the work you have done on the carb I think the problem is the crank seals. But, check the bearings. At rest, the flywheel must be rock solid > no movement up or down, left or right.

If the bearings are solid then only replace the seals. Chances are the engine can stay in the frame if only the seals are being replaced. Best part is that seals are a low cost item.

One other possibility is a partially blocked exhaust system. Check the exhaust first. Checking the exhaust doesn't cost anything. Disconnect the exhaust pipes from the motor. Excite the neighbors by a quick ride down the street with no muffler. If the problem is instantly fixed then get a new exhaust.

Please rate this solution as " FixYa " if able. Thanks!
