How to adjust pilot jet on 2005 yamaha 125

There is no adjustment. It's a fixed jet and must be cleared with a cleaner or replaced if it doesn't clear. It's a very tiny jet. If you mean the idle mixture screw, just warm up the bike and adjust to the smoothest setting.

Ktm 125 sx 2003 idles but wont rev up

your pilot circut is clogged. Take out your pilot jet (this is the jet closest to the cylinder) Be sure to spray carburator cleaner thru this jet until the stream is heavy and solid. Next insert the tube from your can of carb cleaner into the hole the jet was in and spray until it comes out in two locations in the carburator. One in the throat of the carb and one directly under the front edge of the slide. Go to the back of the carburator and you'll see a couple of holes at the bottom edge of the carb that mounts to the air box. these are vent holes. Spray cleaner into them and find the hole that vents the pilot circuit and insure it is not clogged. Once all of these are cleaned your bike should run as if new. Good Luck.

Marauder 125.engine will only start on choke even when bike is warm. its doe 3000 miles and is 1998 model.

Sounds as if its starving for fuel. The corroborator could be dirty inside causing it to clog up and not show its best potential. Should be simple to take apart, remove, clean, and put back together

125 wont idle

One of two things come to mind:

Either your pilot circuit is too lean (colder winter air needs more fuel) or your compression is down. 10 hours on a 125 top end doesn't sound like much but the longevity of the top end depends on many variables including how hard it is ridden, mix ratio, jetting, compression, etc. To me, 10 hours is a lot for a 125.

Where are you located and what is the temperature there? If it ran well in 75F weather and it's now winter, it's likely in need of a larger pilot jet.

What is the right Jet sitting for a Mikuni KX 125 Carburator 1987 Model?

It should have a #370A main jet in it. The pilot jet should be a #35. The jet needle should be a #R-2. The throttle screw setting is one and one half turns outward from a LIGHTLY seated position.

Just wondering what could be causing flooding with my kx 125

Causes of flooding on your bike are:
  1. Float level set too high
  2. Too large a main jet, #420 std. ( 400 min, 470 max)
  3. restricted air flow / filter
  4. Pilot jet too large #40 std. (35 min, 45 max)
  5. Air screw set too lean
  6. Jet needle clip set too low on the needle
