Arctic Cat snowmobile 2003 mountain cat 900, I just replaced

I have a 2003 mountain cat 900, I just replaced the throttle cable cause the oil injection cable was frayed and was sticking wide open. Now with the new one I can't seem to get full rev's out of it and its smoking really bad. I backed the oil cable as far off as possible and I've ran it for along time to make sure I've burned all the old oil out of there but nothing has worked. It also makes a gurgling sound when you gun it. Is it getting to much gas??? Maybe somthing is clogged in the carbs so its not getting enough gas to burn off the oil... If you have any ideas they would be much appreciated. Thanks

Check engine light comes on Arctic cat 2003 F7.

A lot of things can cause a check engine light, usually a bad sensor somewhere.
  • Check for loose or damaged wiring on any part of the Cat that doesn't have protection from a skid plate or cowl.
  • A dealer or someone with a reader should be able to read the codes from the ECU, if you can't find any physical damage

Is there supposed to be something moving inside of oil window when running

Yes you should see the fluid movement. Some oil windows have floating object to indicate the level when the fluid color is not easily

1998 Arctic Cat snowmobile choke cable replacement

The Choke Cable is ran from the Carburetor to the Right Side of the Cowling. The Cable is not what normally wears, it is the breaking of the Handle which you can replace by itself with a Single Roll Pin and a small screw driver. WPS (Western Power Sports sells the repair parts).

I have a 2002 Arctic Cat 570 Mountain Cat with only 300 miles on it. So far, I've blown 3 pistons. My snowmobile mechanic says it's running too lean, even after he cleaned the carb and changed the jets. ...

check the crank seals. the sled has only 300 miles but it is almost 10 years old and those seals need to be wet or they dry out and cause a lean condition, therby melting down the closest piston to the seal
