Can you register a yzf 450 for street use

It would be possible but probably too expensive, there are some private compliance certifying companies that do the compliance plates for many of the low volume imports. but you would need most of the WR electrics and muffler. Easier to start with a WR and fit the YZ cams.
So even if you can find a WR wreck that has the compliance plate and rebuild it with the YZ bits,it would still need the WR;s engine number

How do i make my wr450run like a yz450

get some YZ cams, a yz exhaust and a yz ignition.and rejet to suit

It is possible to change the valve timinig by a tooth to get YZ valve timing.
and a grey wire can be removed from the ignition but these are only partial solutions

2008 wr 450 how do i split the chain do i need 2 gring a link down so i can push it out ?

Yes you do need to split the chain but I would have a real good look at the condition of your sprockets 1st.Obviously you have run out of adjustment on the chain but taking a link out might not be the answer. With the rear wheel lifted, spin the wheel back and forwards a few times. Now, at the rear of the rear sprocket, pull on one of the chain links.Pull it away from the sprocket. If you can lift it away from the sprocket about 1/2 a sprocket tooth, both chain and sprockets need replacing.Just keep this in mind because a broken chain on 450's can do a lot of damage.Hope this helps

Ho wdo i find power to install a 12 volt light to

YZ series mx'rs dont have a lighting coil thus do not have a 12v supply.WR series do.(but they don't come in 125cc at least not here in Oz). Am not sure if WR 250 stator will fit(I very much doubt it).The best next suggestion is to check in MX magazines in advertising section uasually at rear of mag for stator repairers & ask them for advice.

I have a 2005 YZF 450. Can I put on a electric

I think that the WR version has electric start, but it may require that the engine cases be changed, pricey!!! Not to mention wiring, battery, and on.
