Tip

Reset Ecu for Blade efi

Ok guys since many people asking how to reset the ecu... this is the way ... one point is this is a my version as i took the original version meant for other bikes ...Before you guys reset, take note
If you wanna reset your ECU juz 'for fun' . the End result would be the same.. The ECU can only adjust to within a limited range. plus your bike will lose the precious riding skill that it learned before this . So please reset the ecu if you cahnge the battery , rectifier , coil magnet and anytin related to electrical component .
  1. remove the -ve and +ve wire from the battery terminal respectively and leave it for 10-15min minutes (some says only -ve would do ) ,,well its your call.
  2. connect back the terminals , and now start your bike and leave it idle for 15mins (do not disturb the throttle)
  3. off the engine and leave it for another 10 mins ,,,
  4. Take your bike out and blast ur way throught the road
  5. i) if u like aggressive style ... use the freeway ,, each time b4 u change ur gear , leave the rpm till redline ,,, and when u reach 150kmh , maintain it for 1-2 mins
  6. ii) if u like eazy ride ,,,, juz take your bike and ride normally
Eventually your bike will accustomed to the way you ride on daily basis hoefully this works ,,, CHERRIOSSS From Arvin 'Dr Rock' Raj

Hi ther my suzuki drz 400 s on a 03 plate has a problem its runing all ok but u would think the power band wont come in when u r riding it any ideas

The DRZ has quite a broad power band, you may not feel anything. If it revs right through its rev range, this may be normal

Hi, Royalflush84 I would love to help you with your engine or chassis noise but I just loaned my brand new pair of listening ears to your local dealer's chief technician so he could take your bike for a test ride and give you his professional opinion and estimate about your noise and repair cost. normally pulsar engine sound changes after 4000kms and the kind how you drive matters,if you have smooth handling til 5000kms initially then the engine, clutch, gear box sets to its maxim efficiency.. if ur a rough user then very soon u ll hav wear nd tear in clutch and gear box.. 4 ur problem ask ur service engg. to load up the SISSOR TEETH in gear box, this may reduce the engine noise...

Suzuki drz 400sm

They should be around 33hp at the rear wheel. They should wheelie ok, though you will need to try a bit for decent ones.

Gas Mileage for 2005 Suzuki DRZ400S

40-50 depending on how you drive it and where you go. Hard riding off road less mileage. Street riding taking it easy better. Check out www.drz.info for some good tips on the DRZ. Also www.thumpertalk.com under the DRZ section is great info and more than you ever wanted to know about your bike. I'v had mine for 2 years now and love it. If your going to go off road at all get diffrent tires. The stock death wings are dangerious off road. Good choice in bikes.
