Hello, usually battery is under the seat or bolted on the left side up above the back wheel, you may need to charge battery or purchase one, when motorcycles set the battery starts to break down, because there is know current going to battery to keep it charged, if that fails you might have to replace the starter cylnoid i would drain old gas, maybe change fuel filter also.

I must correct the first responder.. she oviousley is not at all familiar with the C90.The C90's battery is NOT in the usuall position like most other bikes. It is at the front behind the front wheel and below the oil radiator. There is a black plastic cover secured by screws that must be removed first to expose the posts for charging. Normally 3 months setting is NOT going to cause a battery to die. Mine sets 7 months each year and it starts each summer with no charging. You most likely do not ride his machine, and are not familar with how this one must be started... this is probably why it won't crank. The owners manual will explain perfectly how this model must be started. The points are usually: Red kill switch must NOT be on kill, you must be sitting on the bike, kick stand must be up, bike must be in nutral (indicated by green light at speedometer), clutch leaver on left must be pulled all the way in, the key must be turned back one click, black button ( the right lower one) which is the starter can then can be pulled backward.. you should hear the engine turning over at this point.

Battery dead after ride.. wont start.. 2006 C90

COuld be a bad battery or there is a loose (or corroded) connection somewhere. Check to be sure everything is tight, and clean on the battery terminals. If this happens after short trips, or after trips when your bike sat for a while, or on colder days it's probably just time for a new battery.

Boulevard C90 Having trouble w/keeping battery charged.

Check your battery first, if it's more than 2 years old, it could be had it. Disconnect the battery, and check the voltage with a multimeter, if the reading from your battery alone, is less than 12V, then your battery is no good.
To check your alternator function, using your existing battery, start the bike up, and check the voltage reading at idle, should be about 13 - 14Volts if your alternator is charging the battery.
