2000 jaguar xj8. Speedometer stopped working but the odometer still works. ??? What should I be looking for?

You have to replace the electric motor for the speedometer in the cluster. It's all digital. Odometer wouldn't work if the ECU or something else died. You know how to solder?

Speedometer and odometer stoped working

Dear Sir/Madam, The problem is electrical. The speedometer/odometer box needs to be removed from behind the steering wheel (or after removing the steering wheel)...The bulbfuses behind the panel need to be changed and new electrical connections made for the speedometer/odometer to work.
Thanks, Netpreneur

New house off gassing

You need to be careful of the saturation. It is an electrical apliance and can be a fire hazard if the fumes are too great. But from my experience with my Flair Classic it will diminish the fumes and smell, but will not completely eliminate it. The paint will have to cure. The unit does work wonders on smoke and musty smells though.
