Start the check list. Battery, charged and clean terminals. Timing, is it correct??? Have you got a manual to check these things against. If not, just Google, there are plenty of freebies available if you look hard enough.

I have a Ryobi 30562 it wont start

Check spark arrestor on the muffler to see if it is clogged.

If not clogged remove muffler and check the piston and cylinder condition. Check for struck rings.

Note: These engine requires at least 100 psi to start so a compression test isn't out the question.

Poulan chainsaw 35cc wont start. finish over hauling. new piston and compression ring. and already clean carb. it wont just start.

are you sure you have spark? check that first then check that the mixture screws are set right. you say the carb is cleaned. did you put a kit in it or just take it apart and clean it reusing the old diaphragm?

1990 318i engine no compression yet timing chain ok cam and lifters working pistons going up and down has spark 0 compression wont start

I suggest you bring the pistons to TDC, one at time on the comprssion stroke and do a "cylinder leakage test". Put compressed air into the spark plug hose and try to detect where the air is going. If you have the piston exactly at TDC, it will stay there when you put conpressed air in the hole, if it's off a little it will push the piston down. If you have the valve cover off you can watch the valves to determine if you have the pistons on the compression stroke. You should be able to buy a fitting from an auto parts store that will thread into the spark plug hole. If not take an old spark plug and bust the guts out of it and weld a pipe fitting to it to adapt your air compressor hose.

Not starting

piston rings gone on piston or a gasket blown take spark plug off and put a compression tester in the hole and check the pressure goes over 100psi if not its good bye to rings buddy

Change spark plugs and now car wont start.....1994 ford tarus

Do you have the "firing order" correct? In other words, is each spark plug wire going to the same cylinder it was on before you changed the plugs? If you have done nothing else but changed the plugs then this is the most likely problem.
If when you try to start the car it backfires through the exhaust or backfires through the intake. Then this " IS" the problem. Good luck.

Piston rings

hmmm, suggest you do a cylinder compression check to see if ring job is holding pressure.
if tester tip gets wet you either have faulty oil rings or bad valve stem seals but compression test fail is obvious ring or low compression = no start.
