Question about 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 750
I have a 07 gsxr 750 and the lock on the back of the bike that removes the seat and adds the plastic cover will not unlatch so i can remove the seat. I turn the key and i hear the lock turning but nothing is unlatching. what can i do to fix this and take the seat off? please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any ideas. thanks!
When this happened with my bike, I took a large gem clip, straightened it out, and then put a 90 degree bend about 1/4" from one end. I could insert the end with the bend under the seat and use it to grab the release mechanism and pull it so the rear seat released. Then I was able to connect the cable from the latch/lock correctly to avoid the same prob when the seat was reattached.
