Step 1) Pull the fuel line off at the carb, Turn the fuel tank petcock on - you should have fuel flow. If no flow you have fuel delivery problem with the tank or tank vent. If fuel flows-go to step 2.

step 2) shut the fuel petcock off, remove the drain plug in the bottom of the carb, it's a 17mm hex. Turn the petcock on and watch fuel come out the bottom of the carb. If not, the float and/or float valve are stuck. You'll have to remove the float bowl and clean/repair the float and valve.

step 3) If fuel is getting into the float bowl, but no fuel is getting to the engine, you've got stopped up jets and passages.

Taotao 50cc scooter will initially start then sounds like not getting gas, cuts out & dies tried fuel cleaner still having problems keeping it running?? Any ideas??

If it acts like it isn't getting any fuel then that may be because it isn't getting any fuel. Often the obvious is the reason and people try to over think it.
Now, why isn't it getting any fuel? Or why is some getting through but not enough to run?
Fuel filter blocked, bent or kinked fuel line, blockage in the tank outlet, faulty fuel pump or fuel tap, fuel cap not venting so a vacuum is caused holding the fuel back, carb issues. There are lots of things to check and eliminate as the problem. Try working through the above list and see if that solves it.

2003. Why is no gas getting to the fuel rail?

Could be a "fuel pump relay" or ford equivalent that converts ECU fuel output demand signal to power to the fuel pump. To test jump direct positive to fuel pump and see if you get pressure at the rail. If you get pressure, that may be part of the problem. If not enough pressure (but measure) you may have a fuel pressure regulator or ford equivalent issue.

No fuel getting to fuel rail.

fuel pressure regulator is what is in between the pump and the rails. it sounds like your regulator is restricting fuel flow

Getting an EE6 after relocating heater. Have fuel

EE 6 usually indicates a fuel problem. You said you just moved the heater. If the fuel pump is making a loud ticking sound it means it isn't getting any fuel. Try pressing the fuel reset located on the lower right side of the heater. There is a float in the fuel sump that can get latched up so that it will not let any fuel into the sump if the heater is moved or jarred or the sump gets too much fuel in it. You say you have fuel, do you mean in your barrel or is it coming out the fuel line behind your heater? It is possible you have an air bubble in your fuel line that you need to get out. Hope this helps.

Getting a reduced engine power light

Sounds like possible electronic fuel pump failure. when fuel pump gets weaker as the fuel level gets lower . Some folks have a tendency to run their vehicle low on fuel which will eventually shorten the life of the fuel pump.
In some cases you can fill the car up with fuel and the problem will go away in the early stages of the fuel pump problem. The problem comes back as the fuel supply in the tank gets lower. This is one sign.

94 dodge grand caravan no fuel in fuel rail

Dear Ron, you have replaced fuel pump and fuel filter. You have checked the fuel pump relay. Still no fuel in rail. Try bypassing fuel relay with jumper from batt to fuel pump. If o/k then check computer for ground to relay. This system uses a relay that is operated by the computer that supplies a ground for the relay to operate. The wire color is green,16 gage. If the ground is not available then "no fuel" Check this with a test light. Key on and crank apply test light to ground wire and other end of light to ground. You should hear relay click and get fuel. If this checks out you will need to replace computer or get creative with rewiring the relay so it works without computer input. Good luck Moe

Fuel wont flow

You likely have a bad lift pump in the tank. You are working on the fuel pump on the fuel rail right? This vehicle has two fuel pumps one low pressure and one high pressure.
