6th gear doesn't work on vw touran 1.9tdi, all other gears work and car drives well

You need the transmission control module scanned for fault codes. I know the check engine light must be coming on when this happens, correct?

What do you mean by low revs?

Under 1.5k rpm, the engine will not be generating enough torque in those gears.

Gear changes should occur between 2.5k and 3k rpm for a smoother transition.

This is better detail then the other question you posted. If you put it in gear and then start it, will the car move? If it does then do as I suggested in the other post. If the car doesn't move in gear, then you have a bad clutch.

My advice is to get rid of it. Even transmission shops have problems getting parts for these cars. Very common problem. Good Luck

vw dealers have a special tool that helps to adjust the gear gate.1/2 hour job(try a skoda dealer 1/2 hourly rate for same components........)

Wow! Driving 130 on the track I hope. All European engines are governed to not exceed 130mph at the factory. Sounds like yours is set correctly.
