What type of clutch oil do I use for my 2006 ktm 250sxf

Do you mean brake fluid for clutch pump or oil for the engine?
If you ask about oil for engine KTM recomend Motorex Power Synt 4T 10W-50.
If you ask about the clutch brake fluid you will need brake fluid DOT 4 or DOT 5.1. See link: http://www.manualslib.com/manual/90432/Ktm-250-Sx-F.html?page=36

I wish to know what volume of engine oil and what volume of gear oil

Check this out: http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/26322/Buyers-Guide-Specifications/2011-KTM-530-EXC.aspx

Typically, in a 4 stroke engine, the engine oil and transmission oil is the same oil. I don't know but would estimate the capacity to be about 2 quarts. Do not over fill. How will you know? Is there a oil dip stick on the side of the engine? I think so. After you drain the used oil and replace the plug, put in 3/4 of a quart then check the dip stick. Use the quality of oil recommended by the manufacturer. Continue this process until you reach the full line on the dip stick. Is there no owners manual that came with yor motorcycle???

What are some common problems with the ktm 530 exc-r 2008

as with all bikes of this nature, check for runout in wheels, loose spokes, lighting working, suspension not leaking, brake discs for exsess wear, check coolant level , check engine oil for evedence of water, leaking water pump, radiator cap leaking past overflow pipe this could be pressure in system due to head gasket failure, fuel leaking, also check area around eng oil plug for evidence of repaire with cemical metal or similar, slightly noisy tappets is not uncommon,, normaly prety good bike, avoid bikes that smoke exsessive, check all gears are working correctly. dont jump out of gear ride in every gear and check for mechanical noise from gearbox, good gearbox normaly easy to select, doesnt jump out of gear, if u are looking at buying a bike of this nature they are fairly high maintenance, like to be cleaned , oiled and addjusted frequent oil changes, these are basic things i would check when buying a machine of this type, not nessasary a ktm, and these coments are not meant to harm your decision only help you chose the rite one.
