Newer bikes are faster than your 2004. The biggest problem with the bike is finding a dealer. They are few and far between. Getting parts can be a bummer as well. I would suggest you go with Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki or Kawasaki. Now you have dealerships all over the world and the parts to go with them. And, no, the bike is not worth half of the 8000 pounds they are asking for.

2006 Honda 750cc Shadow Aero starts with choke, runs for a minute, sputters and stalls. Won't start again for a couple of days, then starts right up. Electrical?

Hi there
I once had a wee car, whenever it got too much petrol inside itself it refused to go anywhere and had to rest for some time and you had to be very careful with the choke and the petrol so it did not swallow too much of it and need another rest.

I'm trying to find a full manual for my inherited 2006 Brutale F4 910 including taillight wiring diagrams. My best friend passed away and left me the bike, he changed the rear indicators for an...

Oh wow, a Brutale...sorry to hear about the passing of your friend...
These bikes are not something you see everyday, 140 horsepower and they look like a 600 in size..i have only seen a few in my life. You might try contacting MV Augusta Motorcycle company for manuals and technical data...i know no one around that has any...The bike will still start and run, the burnt wires didnt effect the engine control box, right? Turn signals are no problem to install and wire. Here is a link i found that has a lot on it...hope you can read Italian... lol.
Good luck with the beast.

Tires

Under well-lit conditions look for any signs of punctures (such as nails or shards of glass) which might potentially lead to a loss of pressure or a blowout. Bulging or cracking might also occur on old tires; make sure you roll your bike forward in order to see all surface areas that come in contact with the road.,

Winter storage

what to do with fluids? If your brake fluid is in need of changing do so before long-term storage. Similarly hydraulic clutch fluid should be changed before you store your bike; both systems may suffer failure if moisture gets in. Also make sure your coolant is fresh, as deposits can form from old fluid. For service intervals, consult your owner's manual.,,,

ProClean is good stuff but not worth the money. The only reason I had it was because I won a create of it at our clubs Supercross race it's too expensive in my opinion. I buy 40 litre containers of stuff called TFR which stands for Traffic Film Remover, it basically is a detergent like ProClean, Simple Green and all the others, only it costs a fraction of the price and isn't deluted. This means you can delute it to your own strength for different causes. You can see it removing dirt as you watch, like someone said above. You can not use it pure on the bike however, it will make alloy parts go dull - as my buddy found out lol. ,,,
