check fuel shut off button located drivers side kick panel make sure button is pushed it...

The jaguar gears get stuck normally if you're parked on an incline. Its a default Jaguar will not acknowledge. rock the car back and forth a couple times and it will shift. Hope this helps good luck!

you might also need to get a good fuel injector cleaner and put it in the gas tank...it will clean it alright.

Drops out of gear. Well if you pull back on the shifter and it engages again then you will probably need either the shifter cable adjusting or replacing. (common for them to stretch and it will kick out of drive to neutral)
If you actually loose gears and still have no drive when shifting the j-gate to 3rd then there is an internal problem with the transmission.
