Battery will probably be dead, recharge or replace it, Gas is probably stale, will have to drain out old gas and replace with fresh. Be sure to check engine oil level, coolant level, power steering level and top off if needed. You might be lucky and it will start on the stale gas, give it a try first, if not then you will need fresh gas. Hope this helps

Dead battery and bad gas, should start but will have bad gas smell, after you got it running add gas and fuel additive, change all fluid, check belt's and hoses. also have brakes checked.Hope this was helpful.

1992 Buick Park Ave. won't start after pressing brake pedal.

sometimes the other switch is to cut out the cruise control when the brake is applied. I would more suspect something in the fuel injection controls such as a mass air flow sensor or throttle "switch." your car is probably too old to have an auxiliary air bypass valve but if it has one look at it as well. good luck

1993 buick rivera chugging upon acceleration

Is the exhaust converter over 14 years old & blocking
the exhaust flow or gas filter in there for many years

Check those items

Also when that is resolved, change the oxygen sensor
& check out the TPS Sensor, for flat or open spots &
proper voltages

1998 buick lesabre refuses to start or turnover until it sits awhile

Sounds like the starter to me(I assumed you meant won't crank when hot).I have replaced only 1 starter(on my neighbor's Taurus)in the 15 years after quitting the GM dealer tech job 15 years ago.I probably could make a career just changing GM starters and alternators.(I only have Mopars in my driveway!)

1993 buick lesabre won't start. security light is

The coded key probably needs to relearn. Turn ignition to crank and release. Let sit in on position (engine off of coarse) for a full 10 min. turn off for 30 sec. and repeat 3 times engine should start. This procedure should take 30 min. so a booster is needed to maintain a full 12 volts. Do not attempt w/out a charger connected;

1993 buick regal start and stall

The average life of a battery is 3 good years, regardless how BIG, or how it cost. Anything after that is a blessing. Personally, I would replace the battery ASAP, and then with a FULLY CHARGED battery. Then drive, and see if the problem still remains. Hope this helps

I have a 1993 buick lesabre with 31000 miles. it has sat for a year, tranny slips in first gear only. i manualy put in first gear and gently give gas it will start moving when i hit 10 mph i shift to...

Might be a good idea to have fluid & filter changed, due to possibility of moisture build up etc. from sitting. Certainly the most inexpensive, and reasonable solution. Have all connectors removed & sprayed with contact cleaner too.

No start

You will need to verify the signal from the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS), I susspect that is the fault of the no start, had this same prombem with my 93 Rivera.
