The micro switch that is triggered by the front brake lever is out of alignment. This can be the switch itself or the brake lever is not quite to specs and is not engaging/disengaging the micro switch. I've had to adjust mine countless times in the 30000 miles I've owned my 2005. The dealer was absolutely worthless on this fix.

Problems with bmw r1200gs

If your speedo still works, it means the rear sensor is fine. Have you had the front wheel off lately?

If so, check the wiring to the front sensor just above the left brake caliper. Sometimes the cable is removed from the the clip and is then worn away buy the edge of the brake disk. This will cause an intermittent problem affecting both ABS and TC.

How repair my BMW R1200GS 2007 abs?

It seems the only solution is to exchange the ABS Modulator. I´ve not heard of any repair company that refurbish these parts. It´s an expensive reposition part, and I´ve just got the problem on my 2007. It seems the 2008 GS has a Recall for this problem, but not on the 2007.

Check the ABS fuse. It sounds like the ABS electric pump is not working.
