I bet you have a bad spark plug or ignition coil (or distributor wire). It sounds like a cylinder is misfiring, causing the error message, then when it fires up again the code is cleared and the message goes away.
Before you run aengine anymore remove the oil light switch and check it with a gauge in the oil light switch is faulty ,what engine is this a diesel or a petrol

Do you mean the traffic indicators,( turn signals) or do you mean the dash board indicator lamps? If it's the dash warning lamp indicators, they work on a fail safe system, when you turn the ignition on before the start position, all the lights will come on untill start up and ten they will go off automatically within a second or two....if they stay on with the engine runnig you have a problem we have not covered here.
That will be your hazard warning switch, the one that will be flashing on the dash with a triangle showing on it....If that doesn't do it it'll be something to do with the anti theft device...get out of the car lock all the doors and then press the button on the key fob
